CTS Student Volunteers

The International Conference on Collaboration Technologies and Systems (CTS 2014) (http://cts2014.cisedu.info or http://cisedu.us/rp/cts14/) is a premier, international forum where designers, artists, psychologists, user experience researchers, systems engineers and many more from various disciplines come together to debate and shape the future of collaboration systems and technologies design and practice. At CTS 2014 we will turn our focus to what happens when our collaboration systems are used "in the wild".

Student volunteers are essential to the success of the CTS conference. We are looking for a number of student volunteers to assist with the smooth running of CTS this year. To be a student volunteer you must be a student at the time of the conference. We are looking for undergraduate, Masters, or PhD students during the 2013-2014 academic year. We need friendly, enthusiastic and reliable volunteers to help us out. Students of all backgrounds, regardless of discipline, are encouraged to apply. You do not need to have a paper accepted to participate as a CTS student volunteer. No previous student volunteer experience is required. Volunteers must commit to an agreed to work schedule at the conference during May 19-23, 2014 period. There will be a student volunteers orientation on the weekend before the conference.

To thank you for your help as a student volunteer, you would receive free registration for the conference (including all workshops and technical sessions). Additional benefits are being sought and may be offered.

The volunteer duties provide a unique opportunity to interact closely with CTS contributors, participants, and other students and volunteers. Volunteering provides a structured, cordial environment for students in various stages of their research career to become part of the CTS and other related communities.

If you are interested in being a student volunteer at CTS 2014, please fill out the application form below. The deadline for applications is March 14, 2014 (23:59 EST) and applicants will be notified of our decision by April 14, 2014 (23:59 EST).

We look forward to hearing from you.
